Turkey Day

Well, its the day before Thanksgiving. Probably my most favorite holiday. Why you ask? I don’t celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan or whatever holiday is popular this week. So, Thanksgiving has become the defacto standard in my house. Thank god it has slowly and slowly been reduced, by way of death, moving, break-ups or just plain not inviting, to just the four of us this year. What a wonderful day it will be.

Oh, I also killed my CDRW drive the other day. Blah. Another fifty bucks down the tube. I think it was in the middle of writing a CD and Nero crashed. But, the CD “WRITE” light was still on. Well, I turned the whole computer off thinking nothing of it, maybe a ruined CD and BLAM, the CDRW drive has yet to read a disk since. Sucks. Time to fire-up NewEgg.com and see what they got!

Miami…

Had a pretty good week. I went down to Miami to do several things. I got a little vacation from work which is always nice. I also got to see the Pitt vs. Miami game which was a real blast. Almost got killed by several fans and Pitt ended up losing the game, but still had a great time. Lastly, I finally got to visit my friend Paul Ufberg who is down there for his residency. Miami is a very nice city but I don’t think I could spend the rest of my life down there, its just a nice place to visit. In any case, at least I can go there on a whim and have a place to stay. Heh.

Driving and Such

Well, it has been awhile since I last posted to this. No real reason why, just been busy and trying to stay off the computer. In any case, I’m able to make a post now so why not do it! I attended a High Performance Driving School at Lime Rock on Monday. Great time was had by myself, Mark and Tony. I mounted my camera in Tony’s car and got some great videos. Work at
FreedomPay is starting to wind down so I guess I’ll be out of work soon. I sure do hope this economy picks back up, not having a regular job stinks. Also, looks like we will be getting a third roommate again, which will help a bit on the rent, I guess. Until next time…
