My initials are BLT – middle name is Lee.
I used to be in television, movies and modeling – during 2nd and 3rd grade.
I wish I was taller (I’m 5’9) and feel bad for people that are shorter then me.
I have strange views on spending less money. I have no problem spending money, but I enjoy spending the least amount of money I have to get a particular product.
When I doodle, I draw arrows on the paper.
My mother does the same thing.
My eye color changes often, usually a light hazel color.
I am right handed, but I play sports (baseball, hockey, golf) left handed. Yeah, go figure.
I only wear Kenneth Cole shoes.
I am not a morning person and often straggle into work late. Luckily, my bosses have always been flexible with my time.
During the week, I go to bed around midnight and on weekends around 2 AM.
I’ve never done illegal drugs. They do not bother me, I’ve just never had the need to do them.
I own several watches, some costing over $1,000. But, my favorite watch and daily wear is still my Swiss Army Victorinox Officers model. It was my first purchase after getting a "real" job at ARAMARK. The paycheck was $300 and I spent it all on the watch. That was in 1994.
Sometimes I decide on a meal at a restaurant by the
price and not the item.
I speak to either one of my two parents daily.
I used to bite my nails, but about a year ago, I suddenly stopped.
I regret never learning to play an instrument or learning to juggle.
I enjoy reading Blogs of people with whom I have never met.
I’ll answer to several names, including Tobin, BT, T-Bone, Bri, B, and Tobes.
I used to play soccer up until college. I played goalkeeper.
I’ve never been in an automobile accident. I’ve been hit by other folks (parked car) but never while driving.
I often listen to Top 40 radio stations and I sometimes sing to the songs. I also listen to NPR. Quite a range, ehe?
I talk to myself (or maybe someone else, who knows!) while sleeping.
I have been employed by eight (8) different companies during my life. In chronological order, they are, Wood River Village (dishwasher), Catherine’s Restaurant (dishwasher, waiter),Kay-Bee Toys (store clerk), ARAMARK (intern), I/G OpenSolutions (intern, consultant), GENEX Services (Network Design Engineer), Aspeon Solutions (Consultant), Self-Employed.
My last three trips gambling (Vegas, AC, AC) have resulted in being "up" about $3000.
I enjoy my work and have never been unhappy with what I do.
I often curse too much. It’s a bad habit and recently have tried to scale back.
I am half Jewish and half Irish-Catholic.
When I’m bored, I try to track down folks I knew from high-school and college via the internet. I rarely contact them.
I keep bound notebooks of notes at work. I keep them (so far) forever.
I fear electricity. Not like an Amish person, but getting zapped by a stray wire or battery.
I’ve only been in trouble with the law while driving – 2 running STOP signs and several parking tickets.
I enjoy maintaining my cars, but wish I knew more. I often rely on the help of friends and family for advice.
My only international travel has been to Mexico and Canada.
I am exceedingly good at figuring out technology without ever reading documentation or being taught.
I am impatient when something is not done "Now".
I’m a "fan" of very few things,The Simpsons is one of them.
I generally only invest in companies I know well or use their products. I currently own stock in Apple Computer, Cisco Systems, Ford Motor Company, General Electric, Intel, Qwest, ServiceMaster, UnumProvident andXMRadio.
I have not owned an Apple computer since college, I don’t own a Ford, never used ServiceMaster as a company, bought UnumProvident during my stint at GENEX Services and do not have XM Radio. So, item #39 is crap.
Although I enjoy "junk" food, I rarely eat at fast food restaurants.
Lately, I’ve been drinking a lot of Seltzer. I have no idea why.
One of my funniest memories I have during childhood was playing street hockey in the local school parking lot, under the lights. The police forced us to go home because we were too loud (it was about 1 AM). That was so ironic to me, that many of my peers were probably off drinking, drugging, and doing god knows what, and the police force us to stop playing hockey.
I have never had a "large" group of friends and have always kept it small, treasured group of less then 10.
I’m a fan of University of Pittsburgh sports. I usually attend one or two football games a year and usually see the basketball team when they come to the Philadelphia area (ether versus ‘Nova or at MSG)
I’m a fair-weather fan for all of my favorite teams. When they start doing well, I’m watching every game. When they start losing, I find something else to watch. So, pretty much, I’m just like every other Philadelphia sports fan.
I detest receiving gifts because I also hate giving gifts.
I get particular enjoyment out of washing my car. Its the gratification of a job complete and a noticeable improvement
I’m surprised, embarrassed and just a bit relieved I was able to come up with 50 of these. Thanks KH.
